At Just Technics, we are committed to delivering exceptional service and craftsmanship within the turntable customisation and servicing industry. We aim to provide clear, fair policies and will always do our best to support our customers.
Ordering & Payment
- All items are sold as final—no items are supplied on a trial basis.
- We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as PayPal, for online purchases. No additional fees are applied for using these methods.
- Card payments cannot be taken over the phone.
- For fraud prevention and security purposes, we reserve the right to ship only to the billing address associated with the card used.
Shipping & Delivery
- Orders are dispatched using recorded postal services or tracked couriers, depending on the size and nature of the goods.
- Any damaged or missing items must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Claims made outside this timeframe may not be honoured.
- Do not include dust covers with any courier returns. Couriers do not insure these items, and we cannot be held responsible for any damage caused during transit.
- Items that are poorly packaged or insufficiently protected during return delivery are not covered by courier insurance, and damaged returns will not be refunded.
Returns & Refunds
- Unwanted items must be returned within 14 working days at the consumer’s expense.
- Items must be returned in their original packaging, in unused and undamaged condition.
- If items show signs of use, scratches, damage, or wear, the return will be declined.
- An administration fee may apply depending on the nature of the returned goods.
Deposits & Cancellations
- All deposits paid to reserve goods or services are non-refundable.
- In the event of a cancellation, 50% of the estimated total will be refunded.
This policy is clearly outlined during the booking process on the website.
Warranty Information
- All servicing and custom work is covered by a one-year warranty from the date of completion.
- All Technics SL-1200/1210 turntables sold by Just Technics include a one-year warranty, unless otherwise stated.
- Warranty is void if:
- Products are opened or tampered with.
- Components are replaced by the customer or any third party.
- Our service work does not include replacement of tonearm parts (S-tube, housing, bearings, etc.) or internal components such as motor and pitch ICs.
- Free-of-charge items provided as part of a service or promotion are not covered by warranty.
Storage Fees & Abandoned Goods
- If no communication is made within 5 working days after completion of service, a £30.00 per week storage fee will be applied.
- If no contact is received from the customer within 6 months of completion, the goods will be disposed of without further notice.
- It is not the responsibility of Just Technics to initiate contact after the three-month period has passed.
Goods Paid For but Left Unclaimed
- If goods have been paid for but no contact or collection is made, the total funds received will be deducted against accumulated storage costs.
- After 6 months, unclaimed goods will be disposed of, and any outstanding balance will be retained.
Consumer Rights – Distance Selling
Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, customers who purchase goods via mail order are entitled to cancel their order within 7 working days from the day after delivery, provided the goods are returned in accordance with the guidelines outlined above.
