📅 How does booking work?


All bookings are made through the dedicated booking page. If fully booked, this shall be stated on the website homepage. Please follow all instructions carefully and provide as much detail as possible when submitting your request.


📦 How do I get my turntables to you, and when are they due?


You can either:

  • Arrange your own drop-off or courier service
     
  • Use our courier service via APC UK: collection only arranged when using Pimp My Decks packaging or high quality flight cases.
     

Important: Your turntables must arrive at the workshop by 9AM on the first day of your booking slot. Missed drop-offs will result in booking cancellation.


📆 What’s your availability?


Availability is shown on the booking slots section of the online store . Always ensure your decks arrive before your chosen slot begins.


📞 Can I call you directly?


We only provide our contact number once a booking has been confirmed. This ensures our time is dedicated to existing customers and prevents delays caused by general enquiries.


📅 What are your working hours?


Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9AM to 6PM, Saturdays 10AM to 4PM.

The workshop is closed Wednesdays and Sundays.


⏳ How long will the service take?


Each booking slot is for two to three weeks. Timescale can change depending on workload.


🛠 My decks have strange issues – how much and how long?


Every job is different. Please describe the issues in as much detail as possible when booking. Vague descriptions like “it’s not working” make the diagnostic process longer to complete, resulting in a longer timescale for completion. 


💳 What payment methods do you accept?


We accept:

  • Credit/debit cards (in person)
     
  • PayPal
     
  • Direct bank transfer (Barclays Business)
     
  • Cash
     

A full paper invoice is provided for all transactions.


🏡 Do you offer a mobile repair service?


No – all services are carried out in a fully equipped workshop. Correct Technics turntable servicing cannot be performed with just basic tools on-site.


🚚 Do you offer courier pickup/delivery?


Yes! We use APC Overnight for secure UK-wide 24-hour pickup and return. BUT will only be arranged for customers using Pimp My Decks packaging boxes or high quality flight cases.


🎨 Can I buy your vinyl wrap to do it myself?


No – we don’t sell wrap separately. The 3M vinyl we use is expensive, only available via trade accounts, and difficult to apply properly without experience. Trust us – you’ll get a far better result if we handle it!


🎛 Do you service other audio equipment?


No. We specialise only in Technics SL-1200 and SL-1210 turntables. Emails about other equipment will not receive a response.
